1. Information processed by the app

Kurdsofts house ads

The app displays banners that promote other Kurdsofts apps. When requesting a banner, it sends the app package name and a randomly generated, app-scoped installation ID to ads.kurdsofts.net. The ID is not a hardware identifier, advertising ID, phone number, or account ID. It is regenerated if you clear the app's data or reinstall the app.

Our server also receives standard request information such as the IP address and user agent. We use these records to select and deliver an ad, count impressions and clicks, measure performance, limit abuse, and avoid repeatedly treating the same installation as a new one. We do not use them to build an interest profile or to show behaviorally targeted ads.

Notifications

The app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to subscribe the installation to the smsfarsi notification topic. Firebase processes a per-installation ID, registration token, app version, and basic device/app metadata in order to deliver notifications. Notifications are not tied to a Kurdsofts user account because the app has no account system.

2. Information that stays on your device

The following information is stored locally and is not uploaded by the app:

• favorite SMS texts and categories;
• text-size and display preferences;
• rating-prompt state and notification display state; and
• the bundled Persian SMS database and the content you browse in it.

3. Information we do not request

• No name, email address, phone number, login, or user account.
• No access to your SMS inbox, call log, contacts, calendar, photos, or files.
• No precise or background location permission.
• No payment or financial information.

4. Permissions

• Internet and network state: house ads and Firebase notifications.
• Notifications: to show app announcements on supported Android versions. You may deny or disable this permission.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We use Google Firebase as a service provider for notification delivery. Google processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. Our house-ad data is processed on Kurdsofts-controlled infrastructure. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our services, or to vendors that process it only on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention

Local app data remains until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Raw house-ad impression records are normally kept for up to 90 days, and raw click records for up to 365 days. Aggregated statistics that no longer contain the installation ID or IP address may be kept longer. Firebase retains information according to its service settings and policies.

7. Your choices and data-deletion requests

• Disable notifications at any time in Android system settings.
• Clear the app's storage to remove local preferences and generate a new installation ID.
• Uninstall the app to remove its locally stored data.
• Contact us to request access, correction, objection, restriction, or deletion where applicable.

Because the app has no account and server records are pseudonymous, we may not be able to associate a record with a particular person without enough information to verify the request. Records also expire automatically under the retention periods above.

How to request deletion

1. Email [email protected] with the subject “Persian SMS data deletion.”
2. Tell us that the request concerns the Persian SMS app and provide any non-sensitive details that can help us locate the records, such as the approximate date and time of an ad impression or click.
3. We will acknowledge the request, ask only for information needed to verify and locate the data, and complete a valid deletion request within 30 days unless law requires otherwise.

We delete identifiable raw house-ad installation, IP-address, user-agent, impression, and click records that we can match to a valid request. Local preferences and the installation ID can be deleted immediately by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. De-identified aggregate statistics cannot be linked back to a user and may be kept; legally required records and limited backup copies may remain until their normal retention period expires.

8. Security and international processing

Network requests used by the app are encrypted in transit with HTTPS. No online service is risk-free, but we use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their applicable legal safeguards.

9. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
